I stand for the hike.
For dynamic stretching. For the process. And dumbbells. I believe in function, and its siblings, performance and athletics. In sets and reps I trust. I stand for efficient joints and stopping the flat butt syndrome. And I believe a run with friends is a wonderful alternative to television. I have faith in optimism, in empathy, in fun competition. In sweating for the soul as well as for your heart. And I pledge allegiance to individualized care. I believe in physical therapy, psychotherapy, occupational therapy, nutritional therapy, and even music therapy. All hail the plank, the lunge, the BOSU ball, and the dead lift. I am anti-inflammatory, anti-sedentary, and preventative. And have never met a deep breath and belly laugh I did not like. I believe there is art to medicine, as well as science. And I believe health is not an industry, it’s a cause. I am Total Athletic Movement Physical Therapy.

About me
Marin is a special place for me. Growing up here, I have a unique connection with the heart and soul of the people around Mt. Tam. On any given Saturday growing up, you would have found me playing soccer, baseball, basketball, mountain biking, golfing, and running the hills. Bolinas ridge remains my touchstone of natural peace as the sun sets, the fog rolls in, and the golden hills shine around you.
In 2006, I graduated from USC as a Doctor of Physical Therapy. I continued my development as a clinician in USC's orthopedic residency. It helped ingrain a foundation of care that is individualized, empathic, and current. While coming from a biomechanical model, it brought together many different treatment styles that I have successfully molded into my own. Over the years, I have kept current in rehabilitation and performance trends through continuing education, which has helped build and maintain the trust of my patients. I was board certified in orthopedic physical therapy in 2008. My overall treatment model is to restore functional movement patterns through proper mobility and stability.
I have had experience in many different settings including USC's faculty practice, HMO care, private practice, and ownership. One of my passions in physical therapy is working with the United States Ski Team as a physical therapist and athletic trainer. I have worked different training camps and competitions all over the world since 2011. The dedicated athletes inspire me to show the same enthusiasm and hard work to my profession.
Currently I am directing Marin FC’s Strength, Conditioning, and Injury Reduction program. I believe the best way to lower injury rates, remains preventative programs to help our youth athletes compete safely.

Client Testimonials
Morgan has an excellent understanding of how the body works as one cohesive unit! In my case, his full body assessments helped me target certain muscle chains rather than the individual muscle in order to improve my range of motion efficiently. From my feet to my hips to my spine, Morgan has drastically improved my alignment and stability. He is very professional to work with, and trusted by top-level coaches.Luke Tusher Tennis Player
Morgan and I worked together at different World Cup events and training camps across the world for over 8 years. I always appreciated Morgan for his ability to listen to an athlete and pull together different points of pain, soreness, and history of injury in order to act both immediately and acutely while also discussing a long term plan for maintenance and recovery. Beyond treatment, he’s such a great person and makes great conversation. When PT sometimes feels like yet another commitment and can be hard to work through, he makes it enjoyable. My body continues to thank him years later!KC Oakley Retired US Skier
